The Venom GT is a major success story that keeps building momentum with every aerodynamic tweak and trip to the Kennedy Space Center. If JFK were a Vbox-reading racing driver in 2014, he would certainly approve.
This white example is tipped to be the one-off World’s Fastest Edition built to celebrate the record run seen in the below video. It is only the ~14th Venom GT ever made.
In fact, Hennessey may have created the first — and perhaps only — great American Hypercar. If not the first American hypercar ever, this is certainly the best there has ever been. No other car company of any kind from the USA has approached the Venom GT’s lofty performance or pricing specs, let alone an independent manufacturer from the heart of Texas.
With a show stand at The Quail lodge in Carmel California last week right between McLaren and Lamborghini, Hennessey is a local brand legend in the making.
For the Venom GT’s achievements to date, we salute the Hennessey Performance Engineering team. And eagerly await next year’s Venom F5 model!
2015 Hennessey Venom GT
The latest VGT reached the long-held ideal of one kilogram of weight per horsepower, with both totaling 1244 thanks to the latest tweaks to the Hennessey twin-turbocharged V8 engine. The Hennessey team notes that not only is the Venom GT now the world’s fastest car, it is also the quickest.
A 2.7-second sprint to 60-mph only increases in ferocity as the rear tires no longer struggle for grip. Result? a world-record 13.63-seconds to 186-mph. That is fast enough to smooth the wrinkles from the rockstar poster-boy of the Venom GT Spyder: Steven Tyler. A custom stereo is also available for all new Venom GT’s based on the spec designed by Mr. Tyler himself.
Overall, the white color and stripe design is stunning for the WFE edition — of which orders are currently being taken for a limited time.
The only choice now for your World’s Fastest Edition Venom GT: hardtop or Spyder?!
