2024 Subaru BRZ Pricing Revealed, Gets More Expensive But tS Is Coming Soon

Subaru has revealed official pricing for the 2024 BRZ sport coupe. While pricing is increasing for the new model year, Subaru is adding new features to the model including the debut of the all new tS model.

BRZ tS New Pinnacle Of Performance That Also Debuts EyeSight

Before we get into the pricing situation, we might as well talk about the biggest update for 2024, the debut of the BRZ tS. The tS is a spicier version of the BRZ and while it’s sadly not the formal STI model that many Subie fans were hoping for, it does get an STI tuned sport suspension, Brembo brakes as well as several apperance upgrades. As a result, it’s mostly an upgrade package aimed at improving handling but thankfully it won’t cost buyers an arm or a leg with a base tS starting at $36,465. A six-speed manual is the only transmission available and that will also be a recurring theme with the base $31,515 Premium trim dropping its optional automatic for the new model year and embracing a manual transmission only layout.

Buyers looking for an automatic will have to go all the way to the $33,815 Limited which will get the automatic as an optional extra. Transmission layout will depend on taste but listen to the devil on your shoulder and go for the manual (you won’t regret it.) The BRZ will also be getting Subaru’s EyeSight system but it will only be available on the tS and despite our best efforts, Subaru has still not revealed how it managed to make the tech work with a manual transmission so we suggest consulting with your equally tight lipped local magician to try and figure out how Subaru pulled it off.

When Can I Buy One?

Subaru dealers will begin recieving the 2024 model this winter with the full national rollout being completed shortly after. The overall price creep here is subtle but look for that to not stop BRZ fans from snapping them up. One final item here is that the tS will be a formal part of the broader BRZ production run and won’t be a limited production special like it was in the past. Here’s hoping that Subaru will eventually make an STI version, it would be a potent performance statement and would allow the model to cater to long simmering demand for such a model.
