Subaru Releases 2023 BRZ Pricing, Now Starts At $29,615

The 2023 Subaru BRZ is looking to build on some of the early success that the first generation enjoyed when it arrived on the scene a few years ago and while we learned alot about the performance and even some of the updates that make this iteration of the BRZ special. The one thing that was missing was pricing, with Subaru keeping a tight lid on that particular slice of information. But Subaru has changed that narrative and has now finally unveiled the pricing ladder for the second-generation BRZ family.

It’s Still The Premium Focused One

With its sibling the Toyota GR86 still focusing on the mainstream buyer, the BRZ continues to focus on a crowd that wants more comfort and premium touches in their two-door purchase. Annoyingly there still isn’t an STI badged version, but we have included a pricing chart covering all the models below.

  • BRZ Premium 6MT $29,615
  • BRZ Premium 6AT $31,115
  • BRZ Limited 6MT $32,115
  • BRZ Limited 6AT $33,815

The amount of equipment that buyers get partially depends on the trim in question with Premium models getting standard LED headlights and 17-inch wheels. A 7.0-inch digital instrument cluster and an 8.0-inch infotainment system are also along for the ride while the dual-zone climate control system provides four-season comfort.

Limited models take the Premium’s core essentials and add even more goodies such as UltraSuede upholstery, heated mirrors, and a full suite of safety equipment including rear cross-traffic alert, blind-spot monitoring, and lane-keep assist. Performance for all the lineup still comes from a 2.4-liter flat four-cylinder engine that makes 228 hp and 184 lb-ft of torque. Automatic equipped models also get Subaru’s EyeSight system which brings its own share of driver-assist technology including adaptive cruise control, sway warning, and high beam assist.

When Can I Buy One?

The first 2023 models will begin arriving in Subaru dealerships in the summer of 2022. With pandemic-related supply shortages potentially having an adverse effect on pricing and supply, we strongly encourage buyers to shop around and also ask key questions when ironing out the details for purchase. The BRZ is shaping up to be a value-infused blast of performance, and we look forward to exploring all the BRZ’s personality traits in a future review.
