Updated 11.16.16 The badass twin flagships from BMW just stormed the LA auto show: M760 versus Alpina B7! Both score 0-60-mph times of just 3.6-seconds, but go about it with different engines (V12TT in M760 plays race-ready V8TT in B7) and vastly different suspension tunes.  Both are fully air-sprung but the B7 has an extra Sport Plus setting to drop the ride height down to the ground.  The standard xDrive AWD in both cars also receives some big tweaks to differentiate their drive manners.  Safe to expect the Alpina to be far more eager to hang the tail out! 2017 BMW M760i xDrive – V12TT Range-Topper Lags Alpina B7 to 60MPH

Quite a week for the part-carbon BMW 7 series! First the Alpina B7 with its twin-turbo V8 and optional gold deco stencils outside. And now this M760i with a twin-turbo V12 — and also AWD for this generation! The coolest part of the M760i route — which is likely to cost significantly more than the ALPINA — is definitely its dark satin body accents.
