Cadillac Celebrates 20th Anniversary Of V-Series With All New Special Edition Models

Time sure flies in the automotive industry, and it’s hard to believe that the V-Series moniker is now 20 years old. (This author was in high school when the first V models came out.) With 2024 fast approaching, Cadillac has unveiled a special 20th-anniversary package that brings some special touches to help celebrate this key milestone, with the Escalade-V also being included in the celebrations.

Cadillac V-Series Is Back In Retro Black With A Pinch Of Styling Updates

All 20th-anniversary models come with an exterior heritage color called Black Diamond Tri-Coat, which first appeared on the CTS-V back in 2004. In addition to serving duty on the 20th-anniversary model, the color is also an optional $1,995 for many members of the V Series family. While the color is not exclusive, there are other touches that are limited to these models, including a custom grille header, wake-up animation screen, and puddle lamp images. These changes are not that extensive, but we’ll admit that they should do their part to make these models more special than their mainstream counterparts.

The Blackwing models will also benefit from a few 20th anniversary-focused updates, with the grille getting a new badge and the choice of several new colors, including Cyber Yellow Metallic, Velocity Red, Coastal Blue Metallic, and the aforementioned Black Diamond Tri-Coat. These changes will also be added to the 2024 Escalade-V. This model is serving as the swan song of the Escalade’s ICE era, with the model fully transitioning to a full EV over the next few years, starting with the 2025 Cadillac Escalade.
