The 2024 Honda CR-V lineup will be arriving in dealerships soon and looks to build on the impressive sales momentum that the 2023 model managed to achieve during its initial launch. Honda wants to expand this sales footprint even more by adding an all-new Sport-L model to the CR-V lineup for the new model year.
Debuting Sport-L Adds Equipment To Sport Trim
Contrary to what the name might imply at first glance, the Sport-L is not an extended wheelbase model; instead, it follows Honda’s playbook for trim levels and is meant to be an equipment upgrade for Sport-equipped CR-Vs. Buyers that choose to purchase one will be rewarded with upgraded equipment, including leather seats, a power tailgate, and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay capabilities.
Meanwhile, the exterior gets the base Sport’s black accents with all Sport-L models featuring 18-inch Berlina Black wheels, gloss black accents on the exterior, and rectangular-shaped exhaust outlets. These light changes help the Sport-L make full use of the CR-Vs existing styling revisions that aimed to make it sportier and more assertive looking than its blob-like predecessor. These light changes also won’t affect performance hardware, and all 2024 CR-V models will continue to be available as either a traditional ICE model with the 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder or a Hybrid engine for the Sport, Sport-L, and the Sport Touring models.
When Can I Buy A 2024 Honda CR-V?
The 2024 Honda CR-V lineup is slated to begin arriving in Honda showrooms on June 14th with the full national rollout expected to be completed shortly afterward. In the meantime, Honda has released a final pricing ladder for the 2024 Honda CR-V lineup which can be seen below (all pricing includes the $1,295 destination fee).
