Aston Martin is preparing to make its long-awaited return to LeMans racing but before the iconic British automaker hits the track, it’s giving ten lucky customers the opportunity to live out their race car fantasies with the unveiling of the all-new Aston Martin Valkyrie LM a customer-focused version of the Valkyrie that will race at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
Fewer restrictions means Valkyrie LM is more fun
Unlike the Le Mans car which is bogged down by ballasts and FIA-sourced electronic limiters, this LM will come with none of these restrictive add-ons which should make the car much quicker with all models being powered by a 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 sourced from Cosworth with the engine being paired to a seven-speed paddle-shifted sequential gearbox. The engine also gets recalibrated to run better on readily available fuel.
The double-wishbone suspension is also shared with the race car and the setup even features adjustable side and central dampers for drivers looking to extract more performance out of the car at high speeds. The model gets bodywork to match the Le Mans car too with a large rear wing providing plenty of downforce. Aston says it has reworked the Valkyrie LM’s interior to appeal to casual users who put on their track suit for the weekend. A six-point FIA-approved harness and fire suppression system are standard along with an integrated driver information screen and a carbon fiber racing seat. The steering wheel is also a race-inspired unit and comes with plenty of buttons and switches as well as shift lights to let owners know when it’s time to shift.
“It is important to emphasise that the Valkyrie LM is close to identical to the race car that is currently competing in WEC and IMSA, with only a few minor deviations to ensure it is a non-homologated variant and is accessible for customers to experience and enjoy,” says Adam Carter, Aston Martin’s head of endurance motorsport. “Valkyrie LM represents the most authentic Hypercar track experience that is now available.”
Aston promises plenty of surprises
In addition to taking possession of the cars themselves, the company is also offering buyers a special program that allows owners to benefit from the company’s assistance with the brand providing transportation and the crew to help move the Valkyrie from one place to another while also ensuring it stays in prime racing shape.
The company will even supply driver coaches, classroom sessions, and data analysis to help drivers not only improve their track times but to also learn how to get the most out of the LM when it comes time to dance at the local track day. Aston says the first deliveries will begin in the second half of 2026. Pricing wasn’t released but look for all ten of these Valkyrie LMs to be noticeably higher than a base Valkyrie which starts at a cool $3.2 million before options and other lavish extras.
As a bonus, the company also confirmed it will invite all 10 owners to a “special evening” at the company’s HQ in Gaydon, England. The extravaganza promises to bring plenty of opulence to these lucky few including a premium dining experience.
