Chevrolet Releases Pricing For 2024 Blazer EV, Starts At $56,715

Chevrolet has just started formal production of the 2024 Blazer EV at its plant in Ramos Arizpe, Mexico, and while that’s still ruffling a few feathers at the UAW, Chevrolet is continuing to press ahead and has formally revealed official pricing for the model as it prepares to roll it out to customers.

2LT Blazer EV Model Starts At $56,715, SS To Come Next Year

Chevy reps confirmed that while the range-topping SS model will not make its way to consumers until next year, the 2LT model will lead the charge when the SUV begins its national rollout. A base 2LT starts at $56,715 before any green credits or incentives and will (for now) serve as the base model, with lesser trims arriving later. In the meantime, 2LT buyers will find that the Blazer EV comes equipped with an impressive roster of standard equipment, including Chevy’s 17.7-inch infotainment system, a heated steering wheel, power liftgate, wireless phone charging, and adaptive cruise control.

Meanwhile, the RS model starts at $60,215 and will follow the same core blueprint as other models, with this trim featuring RS badging, black accents, 21-inch trim exclusive wheels, cooled front seats, rain-sensing wipers, and animated front lighting. The $61,790 RS RWD model adds a Bose premium audio system to the mix, and it gets more range, too, with these RS variants getting 320 miles of range on a single charge. The unique thing here with this model is that Chevrolet will offer all three drive layouts with FWD, RWD, and AWD all being represented (a rarity in its slice of the EV market.) A notable absence, for now, is the base FWD LT model, with prior rumors and statements from Chevrolet themselves claiming that it would start at just under $45,000. It’s not known if this price will hold (the Silverado EV’s pricing certainly didn’t), but if it does, the LT could be a very interesting option for family buyers looking to embrace the EV lifestyle but at a far lower price point with the right incentives and green credits.

As for the Blazer SS, that model will be the most powerful in the family and hit the right notes for buyers wanting more performance and Tesla-fighting acceleration. We have seen a few SSs cruising around town, and we’ll admit that the styling does pop when paired with certain color combinations.
