The Porsche Panamera is a revelation. This is a car that draws in comments from strangers on a daily basis.
And when the strangers are not approaching you to fawn over the Porsche, they are watching the car’s every detail as it rockets down the roads and highways of the world.
The Panamera is, perhaps, the coolest sedan every made.
Yes, yes – I am a big Porsche fan and have been for most of my life. But even so, Porsche’s brilliant execution of the Panamera really makes this a 928S — updated for 2020 and beyond.
Among the eleven Panamera models for 2014 on the American price lists, you can see the huge range of pricing and performance.
From the $79,000 base Panamera that hits 60 mph in just 5.7 seconds, up two clicks to the Panamera S for $93,000 and a 4.6-second sprint.
Here are the basic performance specs for the Panamera line, including pricing.

If it were my hard-earned money, I would strongly consider the Panamera S or 4S instead of the very pricey top-tier models like the Turbo.
In addition, the Executive option would not be a mandatory requirement for me: I hope to never sit back there!
But for those who do want the huge increase in back-seat roominess, the Executive option is available on the 4S, Turbo and Turbo S variants.
For a stretch in wheelbase, the pricing increases by about $30,000 on the 4S. So think hard about how much room you really need in back before dropping this extra cash.
After all, $30,000 could buy a Chrysler Town & Country and a full-time driver to shuttle any companions around in convoy.
But no minivan would ever be able to keep pace with even the base, 310-horsepower Panamera V6.
A stunning vehicle, and perhaps the best alternative limousine available for ultra-wealthy individuals who do not identify with Mercedes, Bentley or BMW.
Just be careful with the options sheets to avoid overspending.
