716HP RENNtech AMG GT-S – Click-to-Buy Turbo, Aero and Coilovers!?

We love these exotic tuners, obviously.

But many make it seriously tricky to actually buy the upgrades. Typically, it involves an email to them at the very least.

Imagine if Amazon required that for every $2000 purchase?!  Sales would tank.

So let’s share in the thrill of click-to-buy supercar mods!

Horsepower is up by 180m while adjustable coil-overs are the latest new hotness — lowering the ride height of the AMG GT-S by up to an inch and a half. This stance makes a world of difference– even versus this exact car’s world debut at SEMA 2015.

Definitely getting there!

Who bets the eventual stage II mod passes 1000HP!??

In terms of pricing… the turbo kit is $12k, and can be shipped anywhere in the world.  RENNtech can help you locate a garage to handle to install, or you can go to your guy.  You’ll need to save the ‘core’ elements that these RENNtech parts replace — it looks like there is a deposit that is credited back to you once they receive the factory parts back.  All in, plan for an extra $20k on that CC… for the full 716 ponies.  A plug and play turbo ECU reflash is also available. Dubbed the R1 pack, this hits 611HP via new intake, downpipe and OBDII reprogramming.

Oooooooh.  Sorry folks: looks like the click-to-buy tuner dream is not quite real.  The pricing is listed, however….  Good on you, Renntech. =]

Product Release | C190 – AMG GT-S | Stage I Turbo Upgrade | Coil-Over Suspension

RENNtech is proud to announce the release of their latest performance upgrades for the Mercedes-Benz C190 – AMG GT-S. The RENNtech Stage I Turbocharger Upgrade and Coil-Over Suspension are now available.

These performance products have endured thousands of test miles at both of RENNtech’s Headquarters in the United States and Germany. Now the Stage I turbo upgrade completed its final testing on the world’s most demanding race circuit, the Nürburgring-Nordschleife. The upgraded turbochargers for AMG’s 4.0L V8 BiTurbo engine feature lightweight billet compressor wheels and larger impellers. The compressor housings are precision CNC machined and flow tested to compensate for the increased impeller size. In combination with the R1 Performance Package, which includes Stainless Steel Downpipes w/ 200 Cell Catalytic Converters and High-Flow Air Filters, the RENNtech Stage I Turbo will add up to 180 HP and 161 LB-FT over measured stock performance. This brings the AMG GT-S power output up to 716 HP and 656 LB-FT.

Ensuring all the power from RENNtech’s performance upgrades is transmitted to the road, RENNtech developed a suspension kit to improve both vehicle handling and performance. The four-corner suspension kit allows full ride height adjustability and lowering of up to 1.5” for the front and rear. The combination of the RENNtech coil-over suspension with the OEM dampers gives the AMG GT-S performance handling without losing the daily-driver comfort and keeping the OEM electronic damper control retained.

For the 2015 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, RENNtech will be featuring an all-new Project Car to stun the Mercedes-AMG Tuning Industry.  After winning the Mercedes-Benz Mission: Metris Van Challenge at the 2014 SEMA Show with their astonishing DJ Van, RENNtech now unveils their latest project car, the AMG GT.  Located in the Optima Alley, outside of the North Hall and competing in the annual Optima Ultimate Street Car Invitational, RENNtech plans to set yet another standard with their well-known R-Performance Line upgrades.  The R1, R2, and R3 performance packages are established as the perfect balance between performance and value to satisfy all customer desires.
The RENNtech AMG GT Project Car is equipped with newly developed performance upgrades such as; ECU Upgrade, Coil-over Suspension, Downpipes with Sport Cats, and much more.  For aerodynamic enhancements, RENNtech designed an all-around aerodynamic package, consisting of Splitter, Diffuser with Exhaust Tips, Rocker Panels and Adjustable DTM-Style Wing.  The AMG GT sits aggressively on a custom set of RENNtech 10 Super-Light 3-pc forged wheels, manufactured by ADV.1 Wheels.
This RENNtech AMG GT Project will give a hint at what to expect from RENNtech’s R-Performance Line regarding Mercedes-AMG’s newest supercar.  The research and development for this mind-blowing vehicle has just begun, but this teaser shows the potential of this car.
