2024 Toyota Sequoia Gets NightShade Package, Off-Road Package Comes To Platinum Models

The 2024 Toyota Sequoia is entering the new model year with two package revisions that are the only high points in an otherwise carryover transition for Toyota’s biggest SUV offering for U.S. buyers.

New Nightshade and Off-Road Packages Add Depth To Lineup

While there’s not much to talk about when it comes to the Sequoia’s core essentials (i.e., exterior, interior etc.) The SUV is getting some updated package offerings for the new model year. The Sequoia Nightshade variant is the latest entry into Toyota’s blacked-out lineup of special editions and, like other Nightshade models, the Sequoia swaps out its bright chrome trim for blacked-out accents including the front grille surround, lower front bumper, rims, and even the mirror caps. The interior can be equipped with optional second-row captain’s chairs (a perk typically reserved for Limited and above models. However, the fancy thrones will require you to add an additional $350 to the price of your Nightshade purchase.

Meanwhile, the range-topping Platinum model gets a newly available TRD Off-Road package, which is typically seen on the SR5 and Limited models. This package adds a locking rear differential, Multi-Terrain Select, Crawl Control, Downhill Assist Control, and the Multi-Terrain Monitor. The package also adds some upgrades for the suspension and 20-inch TRD-sourced wheels. Meanwhile, the interior gets red seats, a red-accented engine stop/start button, and aluminum pedals. The TRD PRO version’s only notable update is the addition of its yearly color, with this year’s hue being Terra (a deep copper brown.)

We have included a pricing ladder for the 2024 Toyota Sequoia lineup, which can be seen below (all pricing includes the $1,850 destination fee.)

  • SR5: $62,725
  • Limited: $69,125
  • Platinum: $75,315
  • Capstone: $79,915
  • TRD Pro: $80,560
