America is hungry for crossovers and this hunger is why the 2022 Corolla Cross exists. We aren’t exactly sure why Americans love crossovers so much. Maybe it’s the higher ride height for better visibility. Maybe it’s the higher ride height for ease of entry and exit. Or maybe it’s the higher ride height for ease of loading kids or gear into.
What it is
The 2022 Corolla Cross is exactly what it sounds like, a Corolla crossover. Basically Toyota has taken the Corolla, made it a wagon, and lifted it a couple of inches. This makes it a little more practical and roomy and slots it between the Rav4 and C-HR. With 169 horsepower from a 2.0 liter inline-4 the Corolla Cross is a basic machine. Inside it offers a few comforts, but once again sticks to the basics. Expect long term reliability and durable from this little crossover.

Toyota has a history of building econo vehicles. Typically these vehicles have sub par driving characteristics and power, but provide very low operation costs and very high long term reliability. We anticipate the Corolla Cross to be one of those vehicles.
