2017 Lamborghini Huracan Spyder N-LARGO Widebody by NOVITEC

Lamborghini’s trademark sculpture and linear designs lend themselves to endless customization.  The smooth elements look nearly flat across most of the panels of this Huracan SPyder.  But looks are deceiving.  There is actually intense 3D bulging — linked with creases and lines — across the entire factory look of the car. Novitec’s N-LARGO then had a bit of a challenge to out-wild the wildest bull in the pen. Their finished product speaks – and charges — all for itself.  Nearly a half-foot wider and sharing barely any bodywork with the stock machine, this latest N-Largo has to be the coolest …

2.9s, 201MPH 2017 Lamborghini Huracan PERFORMANTE – Launch Gallery

640HP from dry-sump, atmospheric V10 are the appetizer for the hottest Huracan ever.  The main course is its laptime pace.  The car has undergone a hardcore race diet — with aluminum swapped for ‘forged composite’ materials that are lighter and stronger.  Revised aero and downforce are critical for the car’s 6:52-second run around the Nordesleife — a world record for production supercars. Design-wise, the new nose is defined by body-color intake fangs near the outer edge of the bumper.  A three-level splitter/intake unit shows how serious the car is at track times from up close.  The tail is far more …

Rear-Drive Ragtop! 2017 Lamborghini Huracan LP580 SPYDER

The Huracan Spyder is so beautiful in person… you might just wet yourself in giddy excitement as the V10 wakes your inner eardrums from their slumber. The latest variant promises to be one of the best of the best, then.  And one of the cheapest!  What is this messiah on four wheels?! The rear-drive LP580 model is now available as a soft-top. One-paper power outputs are down slightly versus the standard AWD Huracan, but this will not immaterial in the real world. What you get in exchange for rear-drive? A MUCH lighter nose for more incisive turn-in, a more alive wheel …

Track Drive Video + Photos – 2016 Lamborghini HURACAN LP610-4 – XtremeXperience

Here is a curious machine.  One that we’ve loved from afar — and up close — for a few years now.  The Huracan fired up in the AMP pit lane for XtremeXperience’s track day with the most fury, and the most sheer energy. There is no hiding the 5.2-liter, naturally-aspirated V10’s goodness.  And if you think it sounds great on ignition… wait until we get into the throttle! In standard Strada street mode due to the track conditions, however, the Huracan drove itself into a solid third place among the 458 Italia and McLaren 570S.  While the AWD Lambo had …

Slow-Motion ActionGIFs of 2017 Lambo LP580-2 Sideways Around Doha!

Lamborghini’s going sideways at full throttle!? Ahhh!  Run for your lives! Cue the screams and tire shrieks? Yes, but this time in that mid-drift orgasm.  Not some AWD beast off its leash. The LP580-2 is the first rear-drive Lamborghini since the Gallardo Balboni, and is re-engineered to be extra playful.  Frisky, sideways and thrilled about it… Despite standard AWD across the range, Lambo is not out of practise on rear-drive models.  The GT3 cars are all rear-drive and guided the new front suspension development.  We personally like the looks of the 580’s nose a bit better than the Huracan LP610-4. …

2.3s, 805HP Lamborghini HURACAN OCT800 Supercharged by O.CT TUNING

It was only a matter of time.  The entry-level Lambo Gallardo and now Huracan have long been the ideal tuning platform for achieving stunning, headline-shattering power and performance levels. So fast, and so scary… just $100k extra over the Lambo list prices has been plenty to achieve Veyron-beating quickness.  At least below 200-mph… where the mods really start to frighten for the wrong reasons.  Not just loud as F***… but also a bit risky to top-out.  An extra 195HP from this next-gen Supercharged Huracan V10 is not something to be Vmaxed lightly! A supercharger mod for the Huracan from O.CT …

2016 Lamborghini HURACAN – Squadra Corse Villain Prays on R8 (Video)

As any Zoobooks will confirm, the female praying mantis murders its mate after conception… This seems relevant to the Lambo vs Audi R8 battle that might rage among shoppers. Yes, the Huracan is far more special and beautiful than the R8.  And yes, it sounds much better at all times too.  Where the Huracan is staccato and bellowy, popping on downshifts with exhaust back-pressure… the R8 sounds much more muffled on launch and deceleration.  Yes, the R8 V10 starts to sing up its rev range…. but not at the start.  Only once past around 5000-rpm does the R8 confirm its …

2016 PrintTech.de Lamborghini HURACAN TRICOLORE in Brushed Chrome Flames

The world of wraps is getting very artful!  The hundreds of all-new surface finishes present opportunities to customize your car that were impossible until now.  Or at least cost prohibitive! This Print Tech GmbH creation shows the state of the art: a tricolore flag motif that skins the nose in green, the mid-section in white and the tail in red.  These chrome flame finishes are crowns by a brushed-alloy look as the protective topcoat layer. That’s not all: there are literal brushstrokes visible on these patterns.  The whole effect looks like $75k in customization… but only costs a tenth of …

NOVITEC TORADO Reveals New Lambo HURACAN N-LARGO Widebody with 860HP

N-Largo is like a special passcode behind the velvet rope of the supercar universe. Since falling HARD for the sister-company Novitec Rosso’s California N-Largo, the name has sent a tingly shiver up my trousers. The new Novitec Torado Huracan N-Largo therefore is a very welcome new-year’s surprise. Gorgeous aggression and new-ly scultped panels take the Huracan shape to new levels of aggression from all angles. And unlike many widebodies accomplished via manually-extended metal fenders, or tacked-on flares, Novitec goes a much more thorough route. Those wild new front fenders with trailing vent slash?  All-new. The giant lower and upper intake scoops behind …

Sprint pace is 3.4-seconds to 100-kph, which is only a tenth or so behind the standard AWD model, despite lacking all that grip from the front axle. Vmax is 320-kph and the overall package is down about 70 pounds versus the LP610-4. 580HP from the dry-sumped V10 engine in back have custom-tailored drive modes, redone for 2016 as well as for this rear-drive Huracan specifically. New slices in the fenders are beautiful, as is the sharper intake flic on the side pillars behind the glasshouse. 1250HP, 211MPH 2016 MANSORY Lamborghini Huracan TOROFEO Is Full CF Reskin + Screaming V10TT

Lambo power games are back – bigtime! After years of enormous power upgrades for the Gallardo, the Mansory team had a good playbook when taking on the new engine. The vast majority of the critical moving components have been strengthened, optimized and honed to ridiclous strength levels. All this is very, very needed. Because once this beast starts howling, two big additions make themselves known. Doubletime! Bespoke twin turbochargers with water to water intercooling crank the factory power output off the scale. Stock 610PS becomes 1250HP. Gulp. Torque is limited in the all-wheel-drive Huracan to 1000-nm in low gears, …

2015 Lamborghini Huracan by NOVITEC TORADO Launches Aero, Spring and Exhaust Upgrades

Let’s face it: when you see a tuned Lambo you want some crazy topline stats. So many 1200HP Gallardo’s in the world have dulled the senses. So the power upgrade was the first thing we check on the new Novitec Torado Huracan. This all-new engine is clearly complex and its ECU optimizations are not yet hitting the markets. So the focus is on stage one kit: wheels, springs, aero upgrades and exhaust choices. Sport setups with and without remote flaps may liberate a few ponies along with a shoutier scream up the tach. But for jawdropping power outputs in …

VOS Tuning for Lamborghini Huracan Brings New Carbon Aero + Shouty Akrapovic Exhaust

The main critique people have of the new Lamborghini Huracan is that it is (a bit) boring. Not boring like a normal hatchback, mind you. This is still an explosive supercar with performance to shade the hottest Gallardo. But boring to look at, not very interesting to hear and certainly not terrifying enough to live up to its Lambo roots. Is the Huracan’s maturity just progress at making objectively better cars? Or subjectivity clouding the skies of the new Lambo in the face of new competition from McLaren and others? We cannot be certain. Luckily for all, there is …

The Aventador is the heir apparent to a huge well of passion around the previous Countach, Diablo and Murcielago flagships. Those are mid-engine exotics that have stayed wild, stayed loud, and stayed around for four decades of shifting hypercar sands. But in 2010 and beyond — the market is becoming extremely crowded. The Aventador somehow is no longer the title-holder of a generation’s car poster pin-ups. It is nowhere near as fast as the Bugatti Veyron or …
