What a difference 15 years and a dotcom boom can make in how cars of an era are perceived in the future. These Peugeot City Toyz concepts seem absolutely ridiculous today, and might have felt that way then, too.

There are some cool ideas for a track car in the Kartup’s canopy system, and the Vroomster is now almost a reality with the Renault EV city car …. but even so, these are definitely of a time and a place that no longer exists in the car world.

The eDoll’s bubble canopy in back seems particularly offensive, but may have appealed to the under-5-year-old PlaySkool crowd?

It is hard to imagine an adult ever paying money for these silly quad-bikes, even with their millennium fashion blazing like fake smiles in these press photos.
