This new QX Inspiration from Infiniti takes a few minutes to really sink in. At first glance the design is just impossibly puffy and rounded. Marshmallows come to mind.
But spend a few more taps in the slideshow. You discover really cool proportions, surface detailing and LED executions. And this is all just the outside!
THe cabin is perhaps more special. Very sumptuous and inviting even in photos. This is a luxury car cabin that beckons — and that is not always the case with Infiniti’s sterile German rivals.

Infiniti Sheds More Light On Q Inspiration Concept January 3, 2018, 9 pm When we last met Infiniti’s NAIAS bound concept car, we got a glimpse of its front fascia, but Infiniti kept other details (including its name) under wraps. A new teaser photo released earlier today sheds light on the rear fascia, and even drops its name for the first time ever. Dubbed the Q Inspiration, the concept provides a glimpse into the Asian luxury brand’s upcoming flagship sedan, while also showcasing the brand’s new design language which will eventually trickle down to its corporate stablemates. “We aim to take traditional sedan architecture to its next stage of evolution ,” revealed… Updated With 42 New Photos – INFINITI Q80 Inspiration Concept Flagship October 2, 2014, 10 am Updated 10.2.14 One popular design cliche is to describe the panel shapes of a model as 'like flowing silk.' The idea is to be lighter than air, and always in motion with ripples and elegant movement at all times. Far beyond cliche, the new Q80 Inspiration makes the idea real.A rare achievement, to be sure, and very exciting. Freeze that wind-swept silk in time, and it carries the beauty of motion even as a static piece. That is how we would describe the latest panel shaping theme shown in the new Q80 Inspiration, which is officially set to become… 2018 INFINITI Q Inspiration Concept – Photo & Video Flyaround March 25, 2018, 1 pm The Infiniti Q Inspiration Concept is not an instant love-at-first-sight type of machine. Its Tesla overtones are quite obvious. And not always for the best. The white front grille and the ultra rounded fenders do come to life in person. The grille is not just a slat shield but a 4D bending thing of great beauty. Check out the new depth on the Infiniti badge up front -- directly off the Prototype 9 open-wheel EV racer in the background of tna few of these shots. And as smooth and dolphin-like as the tail is... keep an eye on the… 2016 INFINITI QX Sport Inspiration Concept Bows in Beijing April 23, 2016, 7 pm Well well well! Look what we have here: the all-new Infiniti QX Sport concept -- with many all-new and sexy lines in an ultra-modern crossover size. We expected the teasers for this concept to be a clear look at the upcoming QX70 replacement (FX)... but we're much less sure now that 30 photos from all sides are available. What is certain? Infiniti's future SUVs will all look hot. Dripping glamour in every wavy rise and crest. But this machine in particular? We have a sortof Murano-for-China feeling about the machine's proportions. Though impressive and on-trend, the rear-drive cross/coupe style… Updated with Live Photos – 2016 Infiniti QX Sport Inspiration Concept September 29, 2016, 9 am Second look at the Infiniti QX Sport concept -- but the first time outside of its debut in Asia! This stylish number is widely thought to preview an upcoming QX70 replacement. Or perhaps a pair of them! A long-wheelbase, seven-seat variant of the model is likely. We're unclear on the basis for this vehicle. It may be an evolution of the Q50 platform, or could share its underpinnings with the Mercedes-Benz GLE-Class. If the latter, this would be the second deep partnership between Infiniti and MB -- after the just-launched Q30 and QX30 models. 2016 Infiniti QX Sport Inspiration… Animated Debut – 2017 Infiniti QX80 Monograph Concept April 11, 2017, 6 pm The newest Infiniti is upon us! It is dubbed the QX80 Monograph. That term is defined as a singular passion project - and shows the lux truck business is important to Infiniti. Very important. This design study upgrades the design of the QX80 immeasurably. The glasshouse feels familiar, as does the nose. But they are slippery, sexy new expressions on this frame. The bodysides take a similar space-future upgrade to their look, too, naturally. The silhouette-racer description is apt. Minus the giant mirrors of the current model. This beauty uses camera stalk embeds. Stance is seriously low, with massive… 2015 Infiniti Q60 Concept – Private Debut in Detroit Shows Swanky Cabin and ~440HP V6TT January 11, 2015, 8 pm The 2015 Infiniti Q60 Concept is here! Absolutely miraculous style and luxury shown here, with the power to back it up. The styling concept is said to be 98-percent of the finished product, sans a few of the more extravagant details like the super-lux pearlescent paint, much of the carbon-fiber in the bumpers, and things like the etched fiber-optic amber blinker lights in front. The uncut gemstone lens of the main beam headlights are particularly fascinating in their style appeal, but are also likely to fall by the wayside for production. Even so, the real 2016 Q60 Coupe promises… INFINITI Q80 Inspiration Previews Gorgeous and Fascinating S-Class Competitor September 23, 2014, 1 pm One popular design cliche is to describe the panel shapes of a model as 'like flowing silk.' Naturally, this high degree of popularity means that Subaru engineers had a very slim margin of error when they were creating the 2019 Subaru Forester. The trickle of teaser images the company has released has not revealed too much about their efforts, but the latest image does provide a glimpse into its all new tailgate. A key change is the pincer shaped rear taillight which is a cue carried over from the Viziv series of concept cars. The daylight setting… Honda Teases Rugged and Capable 2019 Passport SUV Ahead of L.A. Debut November 15, 2018, 11 pm Honda's versatile SUV and CUV lineup currently offers buyers five distinct choices to choose from, but later this month, they will be joined by a sixth entrant that not only brings back an iconic moniker to the scene after several decades, but also the versatility and off road prowess that has been noticeably absent from Honda lineup, the 2019 Honda Passport. We will admit, the first teasers that Honda released don't show much to the untrained eye, with the Passport's rear end obscured by a plume of tire generated dirt, and a brief video segment of the Passport… 2019 Bugatti La Voiture Noire – 39-Photo Geneva Debut & Design Analysis March 5, 2019, 11 am Bugatti just revealed their coolest one-off exercise in nearly 80 years: the La Voiture Noire. The Black Car? Yes, but think of it as the Black Car with passion. Black as night, dark as sin. Black in the metaphorical sense. Every detail is dipped in black on this car - with its central single wiperblade and unique perforated striations in the panels. A mean and exotic one-off sports coupe with a fully redesigned and re-imagined take on the Chiron bones. Bugatti is returning to its roots with one-offs thanks to the freedom from any price constraints and also a… 2019 Ginetta Akula – Underdog Debut Pips Geneva Hypercar Elite March 5, 2019, 2 pm We're fans of underdog supercar maker Ginetta for a few reasons. First of all is that they are actual racers. Most of the supercars that debut today will not have bona-fide tracktime in their futures, while this Akula certainly does. And secondly, for the functionality of their approach to sports cars. The spirit of the new Akula's design vaguely recalls TVR from the wild old days. This is not a machine that went through dozens of focus groups and design evolutions. This is a murderous slasher film in CFRP -- all vents and intakes and outlets throughout the entire…
