Porsche Unveils All-New V8TT Ahead of Next Panamera Launch

With Porsche hard at work developing the next generation Panamera, the German firm has quietly unveiled an all new bi-turbo V8 at the annual Vienna Motor Symposium in Austria. Expected to be used in the aforementioned Panamera as well as the next generation Cayenne, the new engine is loosely based off of the Audi S4’s 3.0 liter turbocharged V6 and also shares some of that engine’s basic components. Porsche did not reveal the engine’s formal displacement, but look for it to be a step up from the current 4.8 liter V8. The company did however, claim that the engine will …

2.8s, 670HP 2017 ICONA Vulcano Titanium – New Video, Specs and 35 Photos Ahead of Top Marques Monaco

Icona is prepping the Vulcano Titanium for Top Marques Monaco — and has shared a new video about the trials and tribulation of creating a titanium-bodied hypercar. We must say, despite the very enchanting design and clear purpose — challenging the Ferrari F12 — the Vulcano was quite a curious sight on the Pebble Beach Concept Lawn in 2015. Why? It is mostly the exposed titanium finish!  It is distracting, hard to photograph, and presents pretty poorly versus the ultra-high-gloss paintwork of the others with which it shared the practise putting green. But that incredible bodywork is also part of the …

Nissan GT-R NISMO N Attack Package – Upgrade Details and Pricing

Not sure how this even-hotter-than-ever NISMO GT-R slid by us when it was announced in August of this year, but we are all over it now! The new N Attack Package is a major overhaul of the factory NISMO GT-R — letting any OEM driver have the exact specification that delivered a Nurburgring production track record earlier in the year. In Japan, the assembly of the N Attack pack is handled in-house by NISMO, but in the USA (and worldwide) the distributor and official installation partner is long-time Nissan guru STILLEN. This upgrade is massively involved. We have the full …

2016 GMC Sierra ELEVATION Edition Revealed Ahead of February Showroom Arrival

Holy cow! Is this the best-looking truck on the roads in 2016? Definitely in the top three — the Sierra Elevation Edition is back on the refreshed GMC half-ton truck books with dark and premium looks, top-shelf tech upgrades, and pricing that is far more do-able than the loaded Denali. We love the blacked-out styling tweaks, the new lighting front and rear, plus the HID bi-xenon projectors for the first time in a GMC pickup. New DRL designs in white LED appear on all 2016 Sierras, but few are going to turn heads as often as the Elevation edition. GMC …

2016 Toyota TACOMA Pricing and Tech Specs Ahead of Mid-October Showroom Arrival

The new Tacoma just got back from a muddy romp around its namesake town in Washington state. Now time to shower up and hit showrooms nationwide as the best-selling mid-size pickup truck for 10 years running! The 2016 update is a big revamp by Tacoma standards, but is very light versus a normal Toyota mid-cycle refresh. It just so happens that the truck’s already-long product cycle was effectively frozen for a few years during the financial crisis. But buyer demands, CAFE requirements and, most of all, fresh competition has spurred Toyota to take its Tacoma into the workshop. Out …

2015 Audi Prologue Avant Concept Shows 4-Door, Fast-Wagon Style Ahead of Geneva Show

We have seen two iterations of the Prologue concept so far from Audi: both coupes with the scale and presence to compete between the BMW 6 series and the Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupes. With a design that harks back to the low and lean appearance of the Audi 5000 from the late 1980s, the Prologue design does feel much better as a deeply-sloping wagon silhouette. More naturally Audi, but still a bit blah for our tastes. It engenders little to no visual passion or excitement, despite being a clean and pure design. This latest Prologue Avant dramatically decorates the exterior details …

2016 McLaren P1 GTR Shakedown Testing Ahead of March Production Debut

The new P1 GTR is getting very close to production, with the style and design of the prototype shown in Pebble Beach now roaring around racetracks for hot-weather testing. And does it ever roar — The video below offers a quick glimpse into the P1 GTR test program – with the GTR sounding as loud as a top-fuel dragster as it makes a flying pass around 1:20-seconds below. The P1 GTR program will function similar to Ferrari XX Corsa Clienti – with drivers enjoying numerous on-track driving sessions at global racetracks, and also participating in a one-make series like no …

First look at the 2015 Cayenne GTS — the performance-oriented Cayenne with pricing from $96,000 and a new twin-turbo V6 putting out 440-horsepower. Everything about the GTS is performance-optimized, right down to that engine being a cool 300-pounds lighter than the turbo V8 in the Cayenne Turbo. A discount of more than $50,000 versus the Turbo is a nice side benefit, but the GTS runs Turbo-spec brakes and suspension. A unique exterior is still the GTS Cayenne’s best-known attribute, along with a manual-transmission option for a few years there. This year, the custom styling of the GTS is even more …
