At the close of 2026, Audi is reviving a vehicle as unique as it is historic: the A2. The four-ringed automaker is riding the surge of electrification to bring back a name long associated with efficiency and innovation, now in the form of an electric compact. A welcome development for customers, but also a boost for the brand’s sales figures: the Audi A2 e-tron has just validated the eco-score, unlocking access to the CEE boost.
Good news for the Audi A2 e-tron
The French sales division of the Ingolstadt-based brand has reason to cheer: its new electric compact, the Audi A2 e-tron, has certified the eco-score in France, the valuable key that grants entry to the ecological bonus. There were few doubts about its attainment, as its production location in Europe makes the process substantially easier.
Thus, customers of the Audi A2 e-tron will be able to benefit from a CEE eco-boost of €3,535 for everyone, €5,890 if the taxable income per unit falls between €11,251 and €16,880, and up to €6,145 if the taxable income is below €11,250.
It is also eligible for support aimed at households that drive more than 12,000 km per year for professional purposes, such as certain liberal professions, with a boost of up to €5,890. Taxis can also take advantage, with aid ranging from €3,410 to €3,560 depending on configuration, as our colleagues at Automobile-Propre remind us.
Multiple powertrains eligible
Some premium electric vehicles qualify for the eco bonus only in their entry-level version. But Audi France has done a solid job with the pricing of this A2 e-tron to ensure eligibility isn’t limited to just the least powerful variant.
At €38,600 on the catalog, the 170-horsepower version with a 52 kWh battery and a WLTP range of 423 km is offered. It is eligible for the eco bonus, which brings its price down to €35,065 for all buyers.
The 231-horsepower powertrain, which delivers the best range, is also eligible for the eco bonus. It uses an 84 kWh battery for an announced 646 km WLTP. The price is €46,900, or €43,365 after applying the eco bonus.
