There’s something new at Citroën: the French automaker is launching a new trim line called Outdoor. The Citroën C3 and C3 Aircross now benefit from this upscale trim, just like the compact electric city car Ami, which also adopts it.
Citroën Outdoor bets on a more adventurous look
To inject energy into its lineup, Citroën is giving its urban models more character. The Citroën C3 and C3 Aircross are now offered with the high-end Outdoor trim. This trim isn’t just about a few accessory items: the brand is shaping the exterior styling, the interior ambiance, and the equipment on offer.
This trim is recognizable by the Infra-Red color used on the brand’s front and rear logos, by the Sequoia Green body color offered in addition to the other hues, by the Outdoor logo paired with the Migoo mascot, and by specific bodywork elements such as the front bumper with a plate resembling a protective skid and by the new 17-inch wheels.
A premium positioning
This new trim sits at the top of the C3 and C3 Aircross range. The Advanced Comfort seats feature upholstery with distinctive patterns, notably including the Migoo mascot. There are Infra-Red stitching details as well as that same color on the door panels. There are also distinctive dashboard accents and the Outdoor logo in front of the passenger.
Three models for every adventure
Citroën aims wide with this trim since three models can receive the treatment. First, the C3, available in a 48-volt 110-horsepower mild-hybrid or in an electric version with the Comfort range, offering up to 323 km WLTP.
For those who need more space and versatility, the trim is also available on the C3 Aircross. The family SUV is offered with hybrid powertrains of 110 and 145 horsepower. An extended-range electric version is also available, with up to 397 km of range. It also features functional roof rails for carrying leisure equipment and LED fog lights.
Finally, for city adventurers and younger drivers who aren’t yet old enough to hold a license, the Outdoor trim is also offered on the Citroën Ami. It stands out from the other Ami variants for the first time with a sunroof on a closed Ami with doors, whereas previously the sunroof was tied to the Buggy version.
The Ami Outdoor is also distinguished by its Khaki Green color, white steel wheels, distinctive stickers around the wheel arches and on the lower body panels, and its OUTDOOR logo on the C-pillar. It also gains unique seats with the Migoo pattern, Infra-Red seat belts, and a color pack with several storage accessories.
