HD Video – 2015 Dodge Viper – DNA of a Supercar

Dodge is thrilled to have the Viper back in the fold for 2015: a price cut of $15,000 for the base trim is only part of the plan to reinvigorate this lethal snake. The second part is to give the Viper some more screen time. Remember the excitement about the 1994 Viper TV series!? We were 12 years old at the time, and crushed when it was not renewed for a second season. But this is 2015. We are all older and more powerful now. The 640-horsepower Viper is packing 8.4-liters in its jeans, with bulges to kill — …

2014 Alfieri Maserati Underwhelms In Person With Bloated Surfaces and Mildewing Cabin

Updated 10.11.14 Forgot we have photos of the Alfieri Maserati from the Pebble Beach concepts lawn! The car is not that great in real life. Its nose is by far the best feature. Overall, it looks too stubby and odd around the mid-section, where its wheelbase appears too short to balance its giant bulging real end. Another oddity? The jackasses who were minding the car would not shut its doors and windows. When asked for third time, he slowly dipped down the back glass but wouldn’t latch it for photos. I mean, seriously? I thought he was just a …

SRT Viper vs. Maserati Alfieri – Friends… Or Family? Overlay Transparency Analysis

SRT Viper vs. Maserati Alfieri – Friends… Or Family? Overlay Transparency Analysis A possible Alfieri-Viper connection has been nagging me since the similarities first appeared about a week after the Alfieri debuted in Geneva. Why did (and does) it seem so close to the Viper, without sharing almost anything recognizable — anywhere? Something about the overdrawn features and super-curved surfaces just strikes me as very similar between the two. But am I just speculating wildly (again)? Besides that, the rear ends seem quite familiar – with similar venting below each lamp and even a similar hatchback glass liftgate. But every …

SRT Viper Mega Galleries — Nikon DSLR Photos from Autobahn Country Club + New Anodized Carbon and Stryker Green

Ooooh! These are pretty great photos from last Fall. Chrysler has never liked me, and the feeling is very mutual — so probably not many more Viper drives forthcoming any time soon. First impressions from low-speed parking lot stuff? (I was late that morning and missed track briefing.) It felt … pretty amazingly bad after the Corvette Stingray and GT-R. It does look good, however. I always forget that I am … sortof a talented photographer as well. Why Viper stuff today? I have a new theory about a (possible — very unlikely tho) Viper chassis underneath Alfieri Maserati concept, …

Car Revs Daily – Outage Apologies and Site Status Updates

Cherished readers!  We are thrilled to be back online, and sorry for the abrupt 404 URLs last week. Many Pinterest and other social links will remain broken until we can resolve other pressing site issues – namely, keeping it online and packed with the latest car news, artwork, and expert reviews. As you may have noted – we are about a month behind. During this giant technical snafu, dozens of posts are still either in Word on my desktop waiting to be re-uploaded, or perhaps gone altogether– for the articles I wrote online only. Que sera, sera. Tech troubles are …

2014 SRT Viper GTS – Huge Wallpapers

2014 SRT Viper GTS – Huge Wallpapers Come and get ’em while they are hot! Although we did not have time to meet the Viper’s dark side during a 5-min jaunt around Autobahn Country Club’s parking lot, the deep colors and meticulous finish is visible on SRT’s latest test cars. The carbon-fiber of the trunk felt a bit more like Lexan, but that is not too relevant… The humongo sizes of these images should be linked to each file, just open in a new window for the full glory of this V-10 supercar – at rest. A courteous and polite …
