Following a string of recent rumors, Ford revealed that it will indeed be axing the GT350 lineup after the 2020 model year, with their demise being necessary to make room for the recently unveiled Mach 1 model. However, the departure of the GT350 also means that it’s curtains for the 5.2 liter flat plane crank V8. Dubbed the “Voodoo” engine, this otherworldly engine made 526 horsepower and revved all the way up to 8,250 rpm. It makes a killer soundtrack, and we recently had the chance to sample it one final time in Michigan via a bright orange GT350R. The …

One of the only Mach 1’s currently in existence was present for the GT500 Track Tour and it was cool to see in the flesh.  Hot color and aero/grip focused makeover for what Ford’s calling the highest-performance 5-liter Mustang, ever. The double chin spoiler (!) and round light block elements are eye-catching at first glance, as is the spoiler right from the GT500. Super cool new spider-spoke alloys and even a lip on the front fenders to cover the wider rubber.  A new bumper shape up front changes the face slightly too. The in-person effect is subtle but undeniably very …

When we last saw the Mach 1 moniker applied to a Mustang, it was back in 2004 and 2005 when the moniker was used on a limited production run of Mustang models. This connection also extends …

The Dodge Challenger has burned plenty of rubber, and in the process created a one of a kind legacy. It first appeared back in 2008, and it has soldiered on largely unchanged since then. While this means that the Challenger is truly ancient as far as automobiles are concerned, the muscle bound two door is also a modern success story of versatility, with the LY platform being perhaps one of the most versatile and adaptable platforms that we have ever seen in a FCA product. But while models like the SRT Hellcat, Demon (pictured,) and even the current Hellcat Redeye …
