Design Analysis – 2018 BMW M8 Concept GranCoupe – Goodwood FoS 2018

BMW needs some new halo vehicles at the top of its lineup.  Both to compete with the rockstar AMG GT as well as subdue all the M-car loyalists who despise the i8. The new 8 series serves that purpose nicely. And before it has even arrived — we have a new variant with totally unique styling and details. Oh, and two extra doors.  The M8 GranCoupe concept tries to keep the Mustang-like raciness of the 850’s roofline while squeezing in two seats back there.  Headroom!?  Who cares! How is this different than the current M6 GC, you ask? Scale. This …

2017 BMW M6 GTLM – 19th BMW Art Car by John Baldessari Will Race DAYTONA

The BMW Art cars are best as real-world racers. Taking corners in a future legend has appeal today just like it did when the first BMW Art Car emerged from the Paris office around 1973. This latest racing artwork, the 19th in the series? A 2017 M6 GTLM, naturally. The biggest, baddest BMW racecar ever made.  A vehicle so shouty on throttle that the artist put the letters F A S T right along both flanks. 2017 BMW M6 GTLM – 19th BMW Art Car by John Baldessari World premiere of BMW Art Car by John Baldessari at Art Basel …

Almost all the curb appeal, but a fifth of the price? Yep, the new M6 Competition Edition is a faithful recreation of the all-new GT3 racer. No word on US availability of this machine, but pricing around $110k will be a snip versus the half-mil for the privateer racecar. Actually, the embossed cabin emblems prove that the M6 Comp Coupe will be coming to America. 2016 BMW M6 Competition Edition   BMW M6 Coupe Competition Edition. SuperTune! Blue Silk FOSTLA.DE Mirror Wrap for Hamann BMW M6 F13

The massive widebody on this Hamann-tuned M6 is not afraid of any car on the road. But with this new blue mirror wrap from Fostla.de, the car is practically begging for a race. Wrapping such a unique custom widebody is extra challenging, and we love the quality workmanship and skill shown here. Just think of the angles around those fenders! A contrast exposed black carbon-fiber for the hood will keep the glare to a minumum while also scaring slowpokes out of the autobahn fast lane! PRIOR-DESIGN PD6XX Widebody for BMW 650i and M6 Will Scare Friends/Neighbors

The goal of a really outrageous bodykit and aero upgrade should include terrifying small children and worrying neighbors. On that count the Prior Design BMW 6 series definitely delivers! Few Bimmers outside or GT6 or DTM look this ridiculously macho and testosterone-rich. The duraflex/fiberglass kit is quite comprehensive – with numerous pieces sold together or a la carte listed below. Not making each piece from CF custs the cost of the kit down 80-percent, we’d estimate. It also means the panels are somewhat flexible and pliable. This will save much heartache over high speedbumps! While the demo car is the …

Refreshed 2015 BMW 6 Series – USA Pricing for All 16 Models + 150 New Photos

The new BMW 6 series is official! The full range is now priced and build-able for USA shoppers — who can choose among 13 unique models of coupes, cabrios and Gran Coupes. Up that total to 16 if you include the M6 in each bodystyle. Overall, the M Sport package is the must-have choice, but there is a Black Pack for the regular trimlines this year. This flips the chrome C-shapes in the bumpers and on other trims to gloss black, as shown in the below UK image of red cabrio nose. As before, the four-doors are the sweet spot …

2015 BMW M6 Coupe, Cabrio and GranCoupe Refreshed with 560HP

The new M6 triplets are fresh this year with revised LED headlamps, black chrome detailing, and a new trunk design. The rear end is perhaps easier to spot than the nose — where the LED indicators are the biggest clue. These are now mounted above the headlamps versus below on the previous car. In back, the trunk has an extra bustle form in its lower leading edge. This is the line closest to the badge on the vertical trunk face, as opposed to the one right below the new spoiler. New LED optics inside the lamps are also fresh for …

2015 BMW 6 Series Revised With New Grille, LED Headlights and Dual-Mode Exhaust

The 2015 BMW 6 Series Coupe, GranCoupe and Convertible are freshened for the 2015 model year, with a new look for the nose, upgraded trims and cabin tech, and a few tweaks to the performance setup. Arriving from around February to showrooms, the new 640i, 650i and M6 have a few meaningful design tweaks that go a long way. The most noticeable element is admittedly pretty subtle, but is a new, larger and sharper twin kidney grille. This new look fixes some of the awkwardness of the previous car’s grille and hood intersection, where there was some uncomfortable overlap between …

World Debut: 203MPH PP-Performance M6 RS800 GranCoupe Is Fastest. BMW. Ever.

Where are the really terrifying tuned BMW M cars? Special creations that will wipe the floor with anything factory-made — and are one-of-a-kind in their brutal appearance and overall power outputs? They are at PP-Performance. This new RS800 M6 GranCoupe is a GT-R killer, and one that is so loud and proud of its 800-horsepower that even 911 Turbo S drivers will clear the fastlane to let it flash past. 203-mph is a huge achievement over the factory M6’s drag-limited 186-mph (once the 155-mph limiter is disabled), and can really only be achieved with a combination of M-DCT’s broad gear …
