OP_ED Part 2 – Cadillac #DAREGREATLY Campaign Previews 2016 CT6 Limo + de Nysschen Progress Report

It is so irritating when writers quote themselves. Drives me nuts. But this one is very, very relevant. On July 3rd, 2014 – we jotted out the below Editor’s Opinion article attempting to diagnose what was making Cadillac feel so ill. We scathed… This really is not an old-man brand anymore. But sadly, it is definitely run by losers. Not losers in life, mind you. They must be smart and successful – but they are definitely, definitely not cool people. They live in Michigan and are sheltered C- and D-county (aka, rural) people who have never even stood on …

Rendering a DIY Black Pack for the 2015 Cadillac ATS Coupe

We mentioned a few times that customizing the excellent 2015 Cadillac ATS Coupe would be a quick and simple job as an owner. We’ve digitally envisioned this $500 upgrade from a few angles — and are stunned with the coolness of the results. The rules are simple: no aftermarket parts of upgrades. Just trim tweaks: dipping the wheels in anthracite grey, tinting the windows to 20-percent, and changing the brushed-alloy brightwork into a black chrome or gloss black. The hardest part of this upgrade, and perhaps the only one that would require a body-shop’s assistance for OEM results, is the …

HD Road Test Review – 2015 Cadillac Escalade Luxury AWD – Long Live The King

INTRO   The 2015 Cadillac Escalade is the ultimate in look-good, feel-good luxury SUVs. After a week driving the Escalade around Georgia and the Carolinas, we really came to love the big truck and never ceased to be amazing by its performance and tech achievements in this fourth-generation model. For many years of the first three generations of Escalade, SUV buyers seemed to bow down to the king Caddy for its prestige appeal — with the actual changes and upgrades from the Denali seeming less-than-complete. The risk of paying the Cadillac premium is that car-guys might see through the blingy …

2015 Cadillac CTS Updated With New Badges, LED Brake Lights, Exhaust Details and Cabin Tech

Light updates and upgrades for the 2015 CTS, detailed below. Mechanically, the cars stay exactly the same as the 2014 models. But there are tweaks front and rear to the style, 4G LTE and active safety upgrades inside, and a new satin-effect for the window brightwork that replaces the previous chrome. Out back, the exhaust finishers are altered slightly, as is the central high-mounted LED brake light. Based on thee images and the lack of the 2015 CTS in Pebble Beach last week, we specualate that the 2015 CTS is still about a month away from dealerships. Ballpark a late …

Updated With 44 Real-Life Photos – 2015 Cadillac ATS Coupe Includes Overboost and 5.6s 0-60 Sprint.. As a 2.0T!

Updated With 44 Real-Life Photos Talk about a huge letdown. The ATS Coupe packs an unbelievable amount of dullness into a two-door shape. What a snooze this car is. The latest media drive photos only confirm our earlier assertion: http://www.car-revs-daily.com/2014/07/03/op_ed-2015-cadillac-ats-coupe-is-boring/ Cadillac really dropped the ball on every single CTS and ATS trim and style decision. This car looks about as cool as a rented Impala Classic. 2015 Cadillac ATS Coupe One of the most promising elements of the Cadillac ATS Coupe is that it adds platform rigidity and performance focus to this new contender in the hotshot exec coupe segment. …

OP_ED – 2015 Cadillac ATS Coupe Coupe Has Right Platform But Boring, Old-Man Style and No Visual Impact

Cadillac churns through chief executives and ad agencies like you would not believe. Everyone is tasked with increasing sales and lowering the demo. Everyone for the last ten years has failed to deliver on these goals for any meaningful amount of time. The 2015 ATS Coupe has all the right stuff to be popular, but it looks like the entire “Cool Coupe” mission is lost on Cadillac. This really is not an old-man brand anymore. But sadly, it is definitely run by losers. Not losers in life, mind you. They must be smart and successful – but they are definitely, …

Updated With Real-Life Photos 6.11.14 2015 Cadillac Escalade – Leathers, Colors, Specs and Pricing Great to see the 2015 Escalade arriving to buyers recently. It looks quite dapper and handsome in person, but the ESV length upgrade would be on my list for maximum style and roomy functionality. The only downside of the bigger ESV is a $3000 price premium, slightly worse mileage, and that it is a bit trickier to park quickly in crowded lots. 2015 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Grows Larger, More Rapid, and More Plush with C300/C400 4Matic

The current C-Class Mercedes-Benz is a consistent seller for the brand, but not quite the desirable and aspirational model that the BMW 3 series is among young executives. Mercedes has taken this to heart, with the American market set to receive two all-new models that are both turbocharged, all-wheel-drive, and much larger inside. Power figures for the C300 4Matic are 235 horsepower and 273 pound-feet of toque via a 2.0-liter four-cylinder, while the new C400 4Matic brings 329 horsepower and a whopping 354 pound-feet of torque. The C400 is powered by a next-gen turbocharged V6 engine, ensuring efficiency at or …

At the high end is the latest Escalade, which repositions itself as the true flagship of Cadillac. And, perhaps, General Motors. Starting with prices about at the same level as previous models, the Escalade is scheduled for an early Spring 2014 roll-out to dealers nationwide.   Exterior …

2015 Cadillac ATS Coupe Includes Overboost and 5.6s 0-60 Sprint.. As a 2.0T!

One of the most promising elements of the Cadillac ATS Coupe is that it adds platform rigidity and performance focus to this new contender in the hotshot exec coupe segment. Two fewer doors does not cut the weight of the 2015 ATS Coupe much in launch 2.0T trims, but the performance focus is very clear from Cadillac. The specs of both ATS Coupes look outstanding, and with as much or more tail-out grins than the 428i and 435i from BMW. Correction coming soon: the red ATS Coupe photos shown here are off-color.  These will be replaced soon. The real-life color …
