In 2022 Renault began bringing to the streets the next-generation electric cars designed to make previous models, quite simple in concept like the ZOE, fade from memory and to pave the way for a new generation of vehicles tailored to the market’s current needs. The first to debut was the Renault Mégane E-Tech Electric.
Almost four years have passed since that car was presented internationally in Marbella, and the time has come to give it what in the automotive segment is called a “facelift” or update.
What changes in the Renault Mégane E-Tech?
We had the chance to learn about the new generation of the Mégane E-Tech during a solo session with the car in Sitges, and the truth is that with small changes the exterior look has become considerably more current and it sports a substantial refresh.
Starting at the front, this compact car now sports a different look. It does so even though the main headlights remain unchanged. What has changed are the secondary LED lighting clusters and the bumper design.
The LED light lines disappear to make way for a cluster of eight diamonds located at the outer edges of the bumpers, which combine with a black and very closed front grille, decorated with multiple diamonds to accompany the Renault diamond emblem that presides over the front in a prominent size.

The bumper adopts somewhat more
Because although they maintain their fluid line, they are now designed as 3D elements without cover lenses, as is the case with the Clio for the front lights. Alongside those new lights, which continue to be integrated in a line running across the car’s width, the rear bumper also shows a light redesign that gives it a different look.
Complementing these visual novelties, the wheels that can be 19 or 20 inches also feature a new design in line with the slightly more minimalist and avant-garde appearance.
Two finishes: Techno and Esprit Alpine

The refreshed Renault Mégane E-Tech Electric is available in two styles and finishes, Techno and Esprit Alpine with a somewhat more sporty positioning.
The Techno version aims to emphasize its dynamic character with a body-colored bumper decoration and 19-inch wheels, although optional 20-inch wheels exist to enhance its presence.
This trim level features a TEP upholstery, which helps to highlight the perceived quality of the package. Also available as an option are front seats in light gray or titanium black TEP, accompanied by door panel and dashboard trim in wood or gray with a graphic finish, respectively.
