1971 Rolls-Royce Phantom VI Cabriolet by Frua

We have hilarious convertibles on the brain since shooting a giggly 500C review video today.

What is sillier or more absurd as a ragtop than a four-door Rolls-Royce Phantom!

This 1971 All-Weather Cabriolet by Frua is famously special.  One-off design details and executions extend far beyond the giant cashmere roof.  This car has basically no miles and is as-new condition, so perhaps not the ideal beach car from the RR.

But certainly one that would delight anyone in the Hamptons or other luxury seaside enclaves.

This beaut sold for $390k at RM Sotheby’s Monterey 2017 auctions the other week.
