Before the all-new Disco Sport even arrives in the USA, the style gurus at KAHN Design have already worked their magic on the seven-seater inside and out!

The cabin is possibly more impressive than the metal outside on this first tuner upgrade of the hotly-anticipated new Land Rover — with a full wrap in natty red alcantara for the touch points of steering wheel, door cards and dash console. A matching tomato-red leather refitting brings quality and panache to this cabin that the family-oriented factory truck can’t dream of matching.

Outside, the tweaks for the KAHN Design Disco Sport are fairly subtle, but hugely effective. 22-inch RS-XF alloys in matte gunmetal set the mood nicely, with KAHN badging and gloss-black trim pieces making this 2.2-liter SD4 diesel look much more premium than its $40k price would suggest.

Best of all? The wheel upgrade will dramatically improve roadholding and corner grip, with little sacrifice in the factory ride quality. Best of all worlds? Yep — and the RX-XF 22-inch alloys come in various finishes like bright silver or gloss black. These pieces are great for global and US buyers, who can have the set delivered to their home for local fitting at any tire shop.

We can’t wait to see what KAHN does with the Disco Sport next — this stylish new SUV is clearly hungry for a special widebody kit and perhaps even a retrofitted air suspension system to drop that ride height on command!  A performance exhaust would be sweet too as a Stage 2 upgrade.

Until then, however, the KAHN package and design mood helps make the most of the new Disco Sport’s fresh detailing; spinning more heads on the street than even the new SVR RRS!

The team at Project Kahn has taken the new Land Rover Discovery Sport to another level.

Afzal Kahn wanted to make the SUV stand out in the crowded marketplace and did so by focusing on creating a light upgrade programme entitled the Ground Effect Edition.

This Corris Grey Discovery was given a set of 8.5″ X 20″RS600 wheels complete in Silver Platinum with 275X40X20″ tyres, Brake Callipers finished in Liquid Red and Kahn bonnet and tailgate lettering.

Inside, the driver and passengers are treated to a beautifully crafted Red Herringbone Leather interior. Designed and made in the UK, the package comprises full upholstery of the front and rear seats, including the headrests and armrests, in high quality quilted and perforated soft leather, door card centre and steering wheel centre hub in Alcantara, door card tops, dashboard, centre glove box in leather, vented foot pedals in machined aluminium and door entry sill plates in machined aluminium.

As with all Project Kahn vehicles, customers can alternatively commission their own colour scheme– the creative possibilities are endless.
