2016 Lincoln MKX in 30 Photos – 2.7L EcoBoost, Open-Pore Wood, 19-Speaker Audio

The 2016 Lincoln MKX has broken cover, and it is a very impressive next step for the resugent American luxury brand. A step up in size from the MKC, the MKX is larger and more posh, of course, but also a bit more evolved. The MKX images here show sexy new detailing inside and out, with a heavy emphasis on advanced luxury not offered on any Ford at any price.

These details include the new twin LED DRL accents in front, a multi-lens HID low and highbeam design, and a full-width LED lightbar in back.

The MKX with these modern traits now rounds out the Lincoln brand’s crossover offering very, very nicely. The MKC starts from about $33,000, so we’d ballpark the MKX to bring pricing from about $41,000 upward. The MKT with its three rows of seats is priced in the $45,000 range, while the Navigator starts at $62,000. We expect the new luxury design and tech of the MKX to make its way onto a LWB version, perhaps badged MKT, for the 2017 model-year.

The 2016 MKX will arrive in showrooms in Summer 2015 with the 2.7-liter EcoBoost engine packing at least 300-horsepower.
