New products from Brabus for the 2015 C-Class today: wheels and aerodynamic addtions for the ‘Sport’ trims of the new C-Class. For the US market, this is the C300 Sport and C400 Sport. The Sport style option replaced the previous AM Sport and comes from the factory with different bumper and grille detailing versus the standard car. Great to see Brabus making special products to be exact-fits to whichever Mercedes you own. This set of upgrades is extremely subtle – replacing the black chrome lower splitter in the front bumper with a grey carbon-fiber element, changing the grille bars to gloss black, and subtle sill extensions and carbon diffuser. The spoiler is a nice addition atop the trunk. In terms of overall impact, the Brabus tech module for the air suspension to lower itself on the bigger wheels are the coolest features. Right behind the extra power, that is… …

2015 C-Class header gif

Update 6.20.14 The new C-Class is looking very sharp in these photos from London and the English countryside! Please disregard the engine badges and driving position of these photos – our American-market launch cars are the C300 4Matic and C400 4Matic — both with standard all-wheel-drive to start. Down the road there is likely to be a rear-drive C250 model as well. The C400 4Matic is set to be one of the year’s best cars – it brings air suspension to the mid-size luxury class for the first time ever. Air springs are heavenly on the latest crop of Mercedes models, and it is great to see the inclusion on the 2015 C-Class. The car is expected this year in American dealerships — with first arrivals estimated at late August. We highly recommend the LED-lit Mercedes badge in the front. 2015 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Grows Larger, More Rapid, and More Plush with C300/C400 4Matic

CarRevsDaily

The current C-Class Mercedes-Benz is a consistent seller for the brand, but not quite the desirable and aspirational model that the BMW 3 series is among young executives. Mercedes has taken this to heart, with the American market set to receive two all-new models that are both turbocharged, all-wheel-drive, and much larger inside. Power figures for the C300 4Matic are 235 horsepower and 273 pound-feet of toque via a 2.0-liter four-cylinder, while the new C400 4Matic brings 329 horsepower and a whopping 354 pound-feet of torque. The C400 is powered by a next-gen turbocharged V6 engine, ensuring efficiency at or likely above the previous C350 Sport. The images show a drastically revamped style, but less of a clean-sheet design than many were expecting. Dimensions growth was critical for the C300 and C400 to jump up half a notch above the new, front-drive CLA250 Sport at the bottom of the M-B …
