2019 Honda CR-V Visualizer – All 10 Colors + Animated GIFs

The CR-V has held onto its spot in the top six selling vehicles in the USA for years now. This latest generation brings a huge leap forward in design and style — to the point we’ve started to really admire them on the road! Pricing is from about $25k and up with four trim levels and all CR-Vs come with these gorgeous LED daytime running lights up front.  To get the sexy full-LED headlights takes the Touring trim or an option package.  To help out on your CR-V shopping, we’ve put together a full visualizer of the new CR-V in every color, from every angle.  Animated GIFs will spin each car around (albeit a bit choppily) in each of the ten colors. There are five colors in the silver/grey family so you should definitely try for a look in the flesh before deciding online. Enjoy!   2019 Honda CR-V Colors …

BRABUS 800 Mercedes-AMG E63-S and Widebody AMG GTS in Emerald Green by Fostla.de

Had to post this beaut because the E63 is one of my all-time favorite cars.  And one cranked up to 800 by Brabus and wrapped in green?  It just pushes all my buttons! As a bonus, also including one of Fostla’s other recent greenies: a widebody AMG GTS!   BRABUS 800 Mercedes-AMG E63-S by Fostla.de A BRABUS 800 IN EMERALD-GREEN-MATTE by FOSTLA.DE Photos: fostla.de concepts  Vehicles from the noble tuner BRABUS – by the way, a neologism from the two founders’ names Klaus Brackmann and Bodo Buschmann – in Bottrop one usually sees in black, and mainly Mercedes-Benz models. Fostla.de is, in turn, official Gold-Partner of BRABUS. Means, the tempted customers can have their premium vehicles converted in Hanover or purchase already completely rebuilt vehicles there. But that’s not enough for the fostla.de boss Darius WALLAT. Therefore, a new BRABUS showroom will soon be completed in the capital of Lower …

Car Mods – BMW Wagon Makeover w/ 3M 1080 Color Wrap & Tints

Quick: name the top three tweaks to make any car cooler overnight? The order is debatable but we’d say tinted glass, up-sized wheels and a fresh paint color.  (Half points if you said to debadge and dechrome the beast from nose to tail:) We tackled all five of these mods to give new life to @thewanderingwheelman’s BMW 3 series wagon. The 2007 328Xi Touring is a fairly timeless q-car that still drives like a champ even a decade after it first hit the streets.  This was back before turbos took over so the honey wagon runs the smooth and soulful BMW inline six and the rear-biased AWD system.   Factory stance was pretty good from the start in terms of a racy lowness, but the stock rims barely filled the wheel arches. The factory paintwork is similarly inoffensive as a metallic dark grey – but was ripe for some color after …

2018 Lexus RC350 F Sport – Road Test Review – By Ben Lewis

Bespoke. It’s a nice word, isn’t it? Very upscale, smarmily British. Made to order. Like a custom-fitted suit. And while Lexus would go broke trying to special-build an RC350 for every taker, it feels that way. Shall we try one on? The Amorous Bee The first thing you notice from the pictures of our tester is the color. Called Flare Yellow, it’s a rich metallic yellow that turns orange in certain light. It’s also a new color for 2018, and it gets lots of attention – the RC has been around since 2015, but people where asking about it like it was brand new. Give credit to the color – but also to the rightness of the design. It wasn’t just people – more than once, we found a bug that was interested in our RC – maybe they thought it was a flower. There was one morning where we …

2018 Nissan GTR50 Concept By ItalDesign – Goodwood FoS 2018 Debut

Very interesting collaboration here where ItalDesign was tasked with a re-skin a Nissan GT-R fully, inside and out, as a celebration of the car’s 50-year legacy. More than a reskin, even. Re-imagining? Reboot? Yes. Possible hints at next-gen model expected for the 2020 model year?  Yes of course.  But mostly this exercise just celebrates the GT-R’s essence and moves the vehicle noticeably upmarket.  Even as a $100k car the GT-R does lack the class and panache of true supercars, in some respects, with the current model’s workmanlike exterior and interior. How to go high-fashion without dulling the GT-R’s ace in the hole — its insane speed? Send one to Italy for GG’s crew to vamp up! The gorgeous results speak for themselves.   2018 Nissan GTR50 Concept By ItalDesign You May Also Like:Design Analysis – 2018 BMW M8 Concept GranCoupe – Goodwood FoS 2018 BMW needs some new halo vehicles …

2019 McLaren SENNA GTR – Best of Goodwood Festival of Speed 2018

The McLaren Senna is already such an insanely aggressive and unique new hypercar.  Its looks instantly make the entire Lambo and Ferrari lineups seem hopelessly dated. The raw energy from these sliced and diced panels hardly needed a racing upfit.  But here we are. This Senna GTR is absolutely shocking in its design brutality. The functional nature of the aero additions are makes them even more interesting and beautiful to the eye. Check out this nose — not just the usual surfboard chin splitter here, oh no. What they’ve done is remove any air-blocking flat surfaces from the nose.  What is a solid strike-face on the road cars becomes a razor-sharp shark nose.  The nose is defined by this enormous chasm between splitter and hood edge. Around the sides the chopped and layered design elements are touchably enticing.  And then we have the tail. This tail will go down in …

Design Analysis – 2018 BMW M8 Concept GranCoupe – Goodwood FoS 2018

BMW needs some new halo vehicles at the top of its lineup.  Both to compete with the rockstar AMG GT as well as subdue all the M-car loyalists who despise the i8. The new 8 series serves that purpose nicely. And before it has even arrived — we have a new variant with totally unique styling and details. Oh, and two extra doors.  The M8 GranCoupe concept tries to keep the Mustang-like raciness of the 850’s roofline while squeezing in two seats back there.  Headroom!?  Who cares! How is this different than the current M6 GC, you ask? Scale. This M8 GC is enormous.  Think Rolls-Royce proportions. The M8 GC also nicely teases the next generation of BMW M car designs.  We’d bet a good chunk of cash that the 2020 M4 will share this face and hopefully its giant, wrap-around ducktail rear spoiler!! There are interesting details in this …

2018 Nissan 370Z Coupe Heritage Edition – Road Test Review – By Ben Lewis

Once, a long time ago, affordable sports cars roamed the highways and byways of this great land. The dream of a roadster (or coupe) in the garage was well within reach, and shared by many. Wuh happened? Safety regulations, Crossovers, SUV’s, Baby Boomers with bad backs –it seems like they all conspired to do the sports car in. Many manufacturers just walked away from those who love to drive the most. But luckily, some didn’t. The herd has been thinned out, but the ones that remain are pretty darn good. The Miata comes to mind – The Subaru BR-Z/Toyota 86 is another. And one of the best has been offering a great drive for nearly a decade. The Nissan 370Z. We were especially excited to get our hands on the 2018 Heritage Edition – not necessarily for the screaming yellow zonker paintwork, but for the fact that it’s basically a …
