2017 LaFerrari APERTA Goes Topless in Paris

First live look at the hottest topless Ferrari in decades!

A softtop and carbon hardtop panel are both provided to the very select owners of this new LaFerrari Aperta.  Chassis stiffness and aero upgrades ensure the same performance as the hardtop variant… but now with added aural pleasure included — gratis.

The exclusivity of the model will also provide some added value to its buyers.  No production cap is cited yet by Ferrari, but is likely to be less than a tenth of the 500-plus production run of the LaFerrari so far.  A one-model-year offering is a sure thing, just for 2017, and the order books are officially closed.

2017 LaFerrari APERTA

The new limited edition special series to be unveiled at the Paris Show
Order book closes after client preview

Maranello, 5 July 2016 – These are the first photographs of the convertible version of the LaFerrari, the new limited edition special series aimed at clients and collectors that refuse to compromise on the joy of drop-top driving even when at the wheel of a supercar.

The name and technical characteristics of the new car will be announced at the Paris International Motor Show as will the number Ferrari proposes to build. However, all available examples have already been sold after a special preview to clients and the order book is closed.

The new limited edition special series will be available with a carbon-fibre hard top and a soft top. It has the same running gear and performance figures as the original LaFerrari, sporting a 800 cv V12 ICE (with a specific power output of 128 cv/l) coupled with a 120 kW electric motor (163 cv), unleashing 963 cv in total.

Significant and extensive modifications have been made to the chassis with the aim of retaining the same torsional rigidity and beam stiffness as the coupé version. The car’s aerodynamics have also been further honed to guarantee the same drag coefficient even without the roof.
