We were really excited to find this Fire Orange M4 in Houston. We thought it meant that BMW was expanding the very lackluster color range available.
But that is not really the case. This Fire Orange is a $5,000 option via BMW Individual.
The most fantastic shade on the standard palette is Sakhir Orange, which is a semi-matte finish that is dark and yummy, and very distinctive.

Besides those, we’d vote only for Black Sapphire or non-Metallic Alpine White. Bonus for Alpine white? It saves you $2,000.
The manual transmission is a good decision, also saving $2,900.
We’d definitely vote for the cool dark wheels. The standard set is extremely dull, as is the unpainted alloy.
