The good folks at Mustang6g.com attended a live GT350 reveal today and scored some amazing new photos of the hottest Mustang yet — plus three videos you have to see the believe!
Or in the case of this first video — hear to believe. The flat-crank V8 engine sounds heavenly in this latest track driving video. A deep bellow becomes a staccato bark at high revs — promising huge aural drama along with that huge lump of horsepower.
Other news? The Mustang GT350 will employ magneto-rheological suspension tech that crosstown supplier Delphi has until-recently withheld from GM competitors…
As well as these three new videos – we have five fresh photos and 175 new screenshots of the Mustang GT350 in action, in the studio and inside the cabin.
Thrilling times for the Ford Mustang! The 2016 Shelby GT350 just made its online debut with a screaming 500+ horsepower via a flat-plane-crank V8 engine that screams like a LeMans racecar.
This naturally-aspirated engine is set to take the track fight directly to the door of the 505HP Camaro Z/28 and its 7.0-liter V8 — but with handling and aero tweaks that the Ford Mustang crew hopes will make the Mustang first to the checkered flags.
The new GT350 wears a huge widebody to house its massive new rubber and largest-ever brakes — with Brembo calipers clamping nearly 15-inch discs, this Shelby is born for road course racetracks and not just the dragstrip.
What is most exciting about this GT350? It is not a concept. This exact vehicle is headed to Ford stores in mid-2015 as a 2016 model. Check out the video below to hear it fire up!
