Finding the right user experience of a web site is challenging.
At Meebo, the chat company I called home for a few years, visiting the office on Castro Street in Mountain View was always an incredible experience.
One trip we dropped in on some of the testers – gaggles of giggling teenage gals. In a little closet of a room, there were two computers set up for this menial task. The gals navigated around the pages, leaving heat traces, eye-ball-tracks – the works – for the engineers to analyze later.
